Example Catalog Searches

Some example searches through the Kistler Library catalog. Note: "Books" comprises physical and digital books here.

a) Searching "au:(marshall mcluhan)" = 122 results.

b) Searching "kw:(digital) AND zb:(canada)" with the limit of publications within the Last 5 years = 257 results.

c) Searching "communication skills" with the limits of publications from 2024-2025 and Books = 42 results.

d) Searching "kw:(women) AND kw:(journalism)" with the limit of Print Book = 165 results.

 

A brief note about abbreviations

You can search the library catalog with abbreviations, such as "au." Here are a few abbreviations defined.
