Long Night Against Procrastination

Resources used to facilitate our end of semester writing/study session, which is hosted in the library and put on jointly by the library, the student academic success center (SASC), and student life department.

What is LNAP?

LNAP is a writing and research festival! However, it is also so much more: it recognizes and accommodates the demanding, multi-faceted schedules of our students by offering alternative and timely support; contributes to a sense of belonging; and battles loneliness and isolation.

On Tuesday, April 29th, from 7 pm to 12 midnight, students are welcome to join a community of librarians, tutors, writers and academic support services.

Students will receive an introduction to techniques for structuring work and break time that can help them be more efficient and reduce their stress levels. They can receive one-on-one support from tutors and librarians, put a dent in their assignments, and still get a good night’s sleep!

There will be additional information provided on citations, advanced search strategies, accessing source quality and understanding peer-review.

One-on-one writing, research, and citation support.

Academic and wellness workshops connecting students to important student services.

And, most importantly…

  • The sense of community and belonging that stems from students working towards a common goal!
