Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these libraries may be closed to the public or operating with restrictions on access and borrowing.
Students and other members of the Rosemont College community can borrow books from SEPCHE libraries by presenting a valid Rosemont ID. To borrow books from TCLC member libraries, a Rosemont ID and a letter of introduction are required. Letters of introduction can be obtained from the Information Desk at Kistler Library.
Visit the Library's website for the most up-to-date information on local borrowing privileges. Contact ill@rosemont.edu with any questions or concerns.
We can help! There are two main ways to get access to resources the Library doesn't own:
Interlibrary Loan
Borrowing from area libraries
WorldCat contains records for millions of books and other materials from libraries worldwide. If you don't find the books you're looking for in Rosemont's catalog, try tracking them down with WorldCat. You can request the books through Interlibrary Loan or find a library where you can check it out yourself.
Open Access materials are freely available online. Always start your search through Kistler Library's catalog and databases, but turn to these journals, books, and other online sources for excellent supplemental research.
If Rosemont doesn't have the book or article you need, don't give up on it. You can request it through Interlibrary Loan. Just fill out an online request form. We will find a library that has it and borrow it for you.
Please allow 7 to 10 business days for your items to arrive. You will be notified of the arrival of your materials via Rosemont email only.
