New Racial Justice and BLM Resources

by Brice Peterson on 2021-01-14T10:46:00-05:00 in Political Science & Criminal Justice, Spotlight Issues | 0 Comments

The Library has added some new books to our collection on the topic of racial justice:

These have been added to our updated Racial Justice guide

The online platform Exact Editions has also made a number of Black Lives Matter articles available for free online, from a number of different publishers and periodicals, including Dazed, New Statesman, Granta, and BBC History Magazine. Click here to view this collection.

Finally, we want to draw your attention to an online resource produced by the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Talking about Race, which includes a number of tools and discussion topics for educators, parents, and others around key concepts like bias, systems of oppression, community building, and self-care. (And special thanks to Prof. Christine Hagedorn for pointing this resource out to us!)
